It is just too short I wager because I even have a thick mattress (as most are now). I have a superb footboard so it actually works out and one side of the bed you can no longer see so it is shorter on that side of the mattress.
A buddy loved it also so i ordered the Queen-size for her and she or he had the same drawback however she didn't have a solid footboard so it does now not go up as as close the headboard because it will have to. Not sure about how the width worked for her.
The Quality and Price was superb.

It is beautiful, however sadly it is slightly small for my queen mattress. The skirt hangs about 4 inches off the ground and the comforter just barely reaches the bottom of my mattress (a regular queen-sized mattress). Also, the taupe is far darker than it appears within the online picture. Despite all this, it appears lovely in my bedroom and I'm no doubt protecting it.
